Creamy Potato Stacks
Creamy Potato Stacks are a tasty side dish or appetizer made with thinly sliced potatoes and a rich, flavorful cream mixture. They are simple to make and look great with any meal. A great way to impress guests.
Ingredients:
- 4 large potatoes, thinly sliced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon fresh thyme leaves
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
Warm the oven up to 190C 375F
Heavy cream, Parmesan cheese, minced garlic, thyme leaves, salt, and pepper should all be mixed together in a bowl
In a muffin tin, arrange thinly sliced potatoes so that each slice just touches the one below it
Make sure each stack of potatoes is covered with the cream mixture as you pour it over them
Place foil over the muffin tin and bake for 30 minutes
Take off the foil and bake the potatoes for another 20 to 25 minutes, or until they are soft and the top is golden brown
Let it cool down for a while before you serve it
If you want, you can add more thyme leaves as a garnish
