Cheesy Spinach Baked Egg Sandwich



This Cheesy Spinach Baked Egg Sandwich is a tasty and healthy way to start the day. The eggs and cheese give it a lot of protein, and the spinach gives it a good amount of vitamins and minerals. Great for a quick and filling breakfast in the morning.

Ingredients:

  • 4 large eggs
  • 4 slices of whole wheat bread
  • 1 cup fresh spinach, chopped
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions:

Turn on your oven and heat it up to 375F 190C

Whisk the eggs, milk, salt, and pepper together in a bowl until everything is well mixed

Set the pan on medium heat and melt the butter

It will take about two to three minutes of cooking after adding the chopped spinach

Pour the egg mix over the spinach that has been sauted in the pan

Stir the eggs every once in a while for a few minutes, until they start to set but are still a little runny

On a baking sheet, put two slices of whole wheat bread

Top each slice with half of the scrambled egg mixture

On top of the eggs on each slice of bread, spread out the shredded cheddar cheese

To make a sandwich, put the last two slices of bread on top

After the oven is hot, put the sandwiches in it for 10 to 12 minutes, or until the cheese melts and the bread is toasted

Take it out of the oven, let it cool for one minute, and then cut it in half
